Peter England Mr. India World 2017 contest was held today and Kumaoni lad Jitesh Singh Deo from Lohaghat Champawat based in Lucknow bagged the title. Prathamesh Maulingkar won the title of Mr. India Supranational 2017 and the first and second runner-ups were Abhi Khajuria and Pavan Rao respectively.
Jitesh will also be contesting at Mr. World 2020 representing India. While Prathamesh will be competing to win the title of Mr. Supranational 2018.
Jitesh Singh Deo hails from Lohaghat in Champwat district of Uttarakhand in a Pahari (Kumaoni) family. However, he is currently living with his parents in Lucknow. He completed his education at Lucknow. Jitesh attended the City Montessori School, Lucknow and pursued his graduation from Indraprastha Engineering College, Ghaziabad.
The winners of the contest were felicitated by none other than Kangana Ranaut. 16 contestants from various parts of India participated to compete for the title.
