HimalayanBuzz organised the beauty pageant Mr and Miss Uttarakhand Worldwide – 2017. After months conducting various competitions, talent hunt rounds the winners of Mr and Miss Uttarakhand Worldwide 2017 were declared. The Finale of Mr and Miss Uttarakhand Worldwide 2017 was held on Saturday 20th May 2017. The venue of Mr and Miss Uttarakhand Worldwide Finale was the grand Solitaire Hotel situated on Haridwar Bypass Road. The chief guests of the event were Dhirendra Pawar, SOD chief minister and former metropolitan Chairman Neelam Sahgal.
Contestants from all over the world who belonged to Uttarakhand registered for the contest. The HimalayanBuzz organisers received over 300 entries for the pageant. After rounds of screening the final 40 aspiring models were selected. The auditions were held in the month of April. It was followed by Talent Hunt and best physique competitions. Other many such competitions gave Mr and Miss Uttarakhand Worldwide 2017 its top 15 finalists in each category.
The Mr and Miss Uttarakhand Worldwide Finale witnessed some of the finest ramp walks and elegant models. The top 15 finalist male models ramp walked in formals. Their tuxedos and bow ties with the manliest gaits were the charm of Mr and Miss Uttarakhand Worldwide Finale 2017. Their counterpart female models in their gowns raised the bar of Mr and Miss Uttarakhand Worldwide 2017 Finale. Sheer gowns and high stilettoes yet not even a single step going wrong. There was also an ethnic wear round. All the female contestants decked up in beautiful lehngas with intricate embroidery and traditional style looked like goddesses on the ramp.
After the final rounds of Mr and Miss Uttarakhand Worldwide 2017, the awaited results were disclosed. Namrata Bhandari, Atif Sheikh, Smriti Sinha, and Hemant Garg were the judges for the night. The judges admitted that it was a neck to neck competition and each of them is already a star.
The winners of Mr and Miss Uttarakhand Worldwide Finale were Miss Nehul Tyagi and Miss Nirbhay Singh. The crown of Miss Uttarakhand Worldwide 2017 was adorned by Ms Nehul Tyagi. She belongs to Roorkee in Uttarakhand. Nehul Tyagi blushed like a new bride in her Miss Uttarakhand Worldwide 2017 crown with the sash reading her new title. She was dressed in a pretty peach colour gown and has bagged the desirable title. The first runner up was from Dehradun, Miss Shefali Chetri. The second runner up of Miss Uttarakhand Worldwide 2017 was Anjali Negi from Pauri Garhwal region. She is currently studying in Delhi. The girls were groomed by some of the finest names in the fashion industry. And the change from the time they came for Mr. and Ms. Uttarakhand Worldwide to the Finale was remarkable.
Nirbhay Singh became Mr. Uttarakhand Worldwide 2017. He belongs to Takanpur district of Uttarakhand & Currently living in Lucknow with his parents. Dressed in a sauce royal blue suit he was declared the winner. Nirbhay’s father who is currently working in Lucknow was humbled at his victory. The first runner up title of Mr Uttarakhand Worldwide 2017 was bagged by Abhishek Rathore. He comes from Vikas Nagar. The second runner up of Mr Uttarakhand Worldwide 2017 was Yash Bhatia from Dehradun.
