How discovered?
I was a participant in the Mr. Doon 2015 and later got a chance in Mr. North India 2016. At a college event one of the most famous choreographers of India Kapil Gauhri liked my performance and helped me move ahead in the line.

Apart from modeling what are your favorite things to do?
I never take modeling as a thing to do! I’m very serious and passionate about it. I like playing cricket. Other hobbies like listening to music are innate in Indians. Also, I love to travel at night. The quiet atmosphere is so soothing.
What song were you listening right now?
Ah! I was listening to Bohemian Rapsody – Queen.
What is your favorite movie or TV show?
My favorite movie is The Pursuit of Happiness. The father and son bond in the movie got my soul. The TV show I like is Spartacus.
Who are your favorite designer and favorite beauty product?
This is a little girly question, Eh! My favorite designer is Manish Malhotra. Models don’t and can’t have favorite beauty products. We are the ones who launch every new product. So I chose and have to wear according to the event. We need to be the fashion trendsetters.
What were you doing before taking modeling professionally?
I was playing volleyball and thinking about taking sports as my career. Also, I was completing my graduation.
What would you be doing if not modeling?
As I am a national level volleyball, maybe I would have become a sportsperson if not a model. One has to have a plan B.
What is the uncool habit that you can’t get off?
Getting up late! I’m such a morning loser. I also cannot stay on diet but cheating on diet is cool in a way. So once a week I do have a cheat meal.
What was your best modeling assignment till date?
Shooting for Nikon was the best experience. I had to go to Mathura away from home but it was great. I got to learn many things and it was a big catch. The brand is international and modeling for it was a lifetime experience.
What is your favorite thing about your hometown or country?
Above all the love people have for each other. The cultural heritage is like nowhere else in the world. Natural beauty and the weather of my hometown is the best. I cannot imagine a parallel place to be on earth other than my homeland.

What is the best advice you can give?
Like everybody, there was a time in my life when I was depressed. My father gave me this advice that to be a real man you need to learn to accept failures like that. Only after you have the courage to hit rock bottom will you get the strength to reach the sky. Don’t get bogged down by anything and take everything as a challenging life throws at you. When life gives you lemons make whiskey!
