The Master of Freestyle 'Animation' dance Lokendra Pal was born in a beautiful town of Uttarkashi on 1st  August 1994. Lokendra did his schooling from Adi Shankaracharya Brahmavidya Peeth, Uttarkashi and later he graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Graphic Era University, Dehradun. His father Hukum Singh Pal is working as Supervisor Department of Horticulture & Food Processing, Uttarakhand and his mother Samita Devi is home Maker. He has two siblings, a younger sister, she resides in Uttarakashi and an elder brother who is pursuing his graduation from Dehradun.

Lokendra Pal is alumni of Graphic Era University Dehradun, a university which has given numbers of actors, singers and dancer to Indian film & television industry. In his childhood, Lokendra never thought he would develop an interest in dancing. Although Graphic Era is a technical college but it also provides the opportunity to proceed in every field. Lokendra was great in academics but had an urge to be a member of the art and cultural group of the college. In the second year of college, he joined a dance group and wanted to perform in Graphic Era’s Annual Fest GRAFEST, But it was not so easy to qualify in the audition. So he thought of doing something different that he can get qualified in the auditions and would be eye pleasing to the audience and there started his journey for freestyle animation dancing. In the third year of his Btech, he got the chance to perform and won the best solo dance award in the fest and also got appreciated by faculties and students. Lokendra believes that this was the turning point. After this, he participated in many dance competitions at university level and he also won the first prizes in the annual fests of IIT Delhi and IIT Roorkee 

India’s Got Talent Season 6

After completing BTech, Lokendra wanted to choose dance as his career, but his parents wanted him to work as an engineer in a government sector. Lokendra wanted to prove his parents before stepping in the industry, that its a right decision for him so he auditioned for Dehradun audition of 'India Got Talent: Season 6' and got selected for final Mumbai auditions. Judges at Mumbai final audition were very much impressed by his performance, especially Karan Johar loved it and by pressing the golden buzzer gave him direct entry to the semifinal. Lokendra’s journey in India’s Got Talent was until pre-finale only but with his innocent face and striking moves, he won the hearts of the audience. Lokendra also participated in a Malayalam Talent Show 'Ugaram Ujjwalam Season 2'.

Dance Academy ‘Learn Gang’

Lokendra now started his own dance institute at Kargi Chauk, Dehradun. Soon he will be back on our televisions with his majestic performances in upcoming dance going to be aired on Star Plus
