Amanpreet Singh won the prestigious title of Himalayan Buzz Mr. North India 2020. Amanpreet was born & brought up in Delhi and wants to pursue his career in modeling Only. Our team interviewed him recently.

Congratulations on winning Mr. North India 2020. How are you celebrating your victory?
Thank you so much for your wishes. I am extremely glad about this victory. It is indeed a big step ahead in my career. It is only after a long tough battle that a great victory is achieved.

How did your family and friends react to your victory?
Of course, they all are celebrating this title especially my mother. She always supports and motivates me to pursue my dreams. She is the only person who truly enjoyed my title.

What was the first thought that came to your mind when they announced your name as the winner?
I was very grateful to god for my achievement. All my hard work and struggle paid off with the blessings of God.

You can be honest about it, did you expect that win?
Yes, I was expecting my win because I have been working very hard for a long time for this title with lots of focus and dedication. So I think I deserved this win.

How was your experience during Mr. North India 2020 pageant?
It was a great experience. I really enjoy those days. I am glad to be part of this pageant. I had to venture out of my comfort zone. I learned lots of new things. It helped me improve myself.

All the finalists literally stayed together for more than a week, how was the bonding with other boys?
All candidates were good-natured and helpful to each other. We enjoyed camaraderie very much and we are still in contact with each other.

Who will you say is your idol or mentor?
I am blessed with women in my life… First of all, my mother. My bond is stronger with my mother. My mom is my mentor. She is always by my side in every situation. I was able to take up modeling as my career only because of her support.

Who was your biggest competition in Mr. North India 2020
Yes, I was a little bit nervous but I was well-prepared for this title so I didn’t stress myself thinking too much of the competition.

What do you think were the judges looking at while deciding the winners?
Judges wanted to see the confidence in the contestants.

Lastly, any message to all the aspiring boys who dream of being Mr. North India?
Struggles, challenges, and hard times teach you a lot about life. You can not grow without struggle. You can not get STRONGER without resistance. Think about a time in your life that may have been hard, but forced you to become better. Get grateful for the struggles and WORK on yourself to ensure your future has much more PLEASURE than PAIN. Believe in yourself. Nothing is impossible to achieve in this world.
