What was your favorite modeling experience so far?

I enjoy being in front of the camera so much that I like picking up something new from each shoot that I do. If we talk about my favorite one, then it has to be the editorial I did for GQ India a few years back. It’s by far my most favorite shoot. Another experience that changed my perception of modeling was my time in Milan, Italy. It helped me grow as a model a lot as I learned so many new things about myself and my profession.

Which brand you would love to model for?

The last time I was working in Milan, I got a call from Armani for their upcoming shoot. It couldn’t happen for me as I couldn’t get my work Visa extended. So including Armani, I would love to model for Dolce & Gabanna, Calvin Klein, YSL etc.

Who is your favorite designer?

Over the years, our country has produced some amazingly talented designers and homegrown brands. And I have been fortunate enough to model for most of them as well. To name a few, I admire the work of Rohit Bal, Sabyasachi, Shantanu & Nikhil, Goodearth, Shahad Durazi, etc. I am fond of classic things, which sums up my choice of designers as well.

What are you currently obsessed with/about?

Dreaming and keep working on your dreams is what I have always believed in growing up and continuing to do so. I like it more when I am learning something and being productive. The monotonous life is not for me as my goals keep changing and so does the work towards them.

Are you willing to do films too?

I feel Films/Acting is an extension of modeling. So, if I get an opportunity to be a part of an amazing project, I would like to go for it.

How does it feel to be a Top Model in India?

First of all, thank you for considering me in that category but I feel I still have miles to go. I am extremely grateful for all the love and respect that the industry has showered on me. I, on the other hand, keep craving to be a better version of myself every day.

What’s the best piece of advice you have ever been given?

Be yourself. Be unstoppable. Have faith in your abilities. Just keep doing what you believe in. Do not worry what anyone thinks about you. Life’s too short to worry about anything you cannot control.
